Definition: organoid intelligence

Using synthetic brain cells for testing new medicines for people. Instead of testing experimental drugs on humans, tissues grown from stem cells called "organoids" have been used for years. Researchers believe organoid intelligence (OI) can be used to learn more about how the human brain works. A future goal is to create a channel between OI and AI that would lead to more discovery.
