Definition: Citizendium

(CITIZEN's compENDIUM of everything) A free online encyclopedia in the English language founded in 2006 by Larry Sanger, co-founder of Wikipedia. Designed to be a more trustworthy site than Wikipedia, Citizendium was very active until 2011. As of 2024, there are fewer than 20,000 articles compared to the tens of millions in Wikipedia.
