(SSA Global Technologies, Inc., Chicago, IL) A leading provider of extended enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for manufacturing, services, and public organizations worldwide. The company was founded in 1981 as System Software Associates, Inc. and restructured in 2000 as SSA Global. Its flagship product, BPCS (Business Planning and Control Software), is widely used in the manufacturing sector. In recent years, SSA Global assimilated several competing and complementary products/companies including MasterPiece, PRMS, MAX International, Baan, Ironside Technologies, Elevon and EXE Technologies.
