Definition: Intel Insider


A content protection system for streaming HD movies to PCs, as well as to the TV set if the user can forward the content. The encrypted HD transmission prevents capturing the content wireless. Intel Insider is built into Intel CPUs that use the Sandy Bridge architecture, which was introduced in 2011. The Insider technology must also be installed at the movie distribution side.
