Definition: ChromeOS Flex

A version of the Linux-based ChromeOS operating system for PCs. ChromeOS Flex is touted as a Windows or macOS replacement on Intel and AMD CPUs. However, ChromeOS Flex is not identical to the ChromeOS on Chromebooks. For example, ChromeOS Flex does not support Android apps or the Google Play store. There are also keyboard differences. See ChromeOS and Cloud Ready.
