Protocol) Also called "AT Proto," the AT Protocol was created to provide a single identity for social network platforms that can access content in a federated network. Introduced in 2022 as the Authenticated Data Experiment (ADX), it was soon renamed AT Protocol. The underlying open standard of the Bluesky social network, Bluesky was proof of concept for the protocol. In the future, the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) will take control of it. See
