DESKTOP MODE
In Desktop mode, you can do the following:
1 - Access Start Menu
Tap Windows button on the taskbar.
2 - Make an App Become a Tile
Drag and drop the icon from All apps into the tile area.
3 - Switch Between Apps - Desktop Mode
Tap the window of the app you want to switch to or tap the Task View icon on taskbar and point to and tap a window.
TABLET MODE
In Tablet Mode, you can do the following:
1 - Access Start Menu
Tap Windows button; then the Apps or Tile icon.
2 - Make an App Become a Tile
Long tap All apps icon and select Pin to Start.
3 - Switch Between Apps
Tap Task View icon on taskbar and point to and tap a window.
DESKTOP AND TABLET MODES
In either mode, you can do the following:
1 - Access Action Center
Tap the last icon on the taskbar.
2 - Search for Files, Apps, Settings
Tap Windows button and type the name.
3 - Close an App
Tap the red X on the upper right side of the app window or tap Exit from the program's File menu.
4 - Uninstall an App
Long tap and release All apps icon and tap Uninstall.
5 - Turn Off Computer
Tap Windows button and on/off icon.
