Definition: tiny nuclear
A small nuclear power plant that generates electricity. Employing major advancements over the large gigawatt-sized nuclear plants installed since the 1970s, tiny nuclear is much safer. Expected to proliferate by 2030, tiny nuclear, megawatt-sized, fission-based facilities provide electricity to fewer than a thousand homes. At 1% the size of their bigger siblings, tiny nuclear can generate 10% of their power.
