A mode of operation in a Windows PC, starting with Windows 8, which runs a tablet-style app full screen. In Windows 10, a tablet app can run in its own window just like a desktop app. Windows 10 can also automatically switch features of the user interface between Desktop Mode and Tablet Mode (see
