Definition: super key


(1) Two or more columns (fields) in a relational database that identify a row in the table. See primary key.

(2) (Super key) The Windows key on keyboards when it is used with PCs running Linux and BSD operating systems.

(3) (SuperKey) An earlier PC keyboard macro processor from Borland that lets users create keyboard macros, rearrange the keyboard and encrypt data and programs.
