Definition: stack page

A 4K block of memory used for device drivers in Windows 95/98. When new software or hardware was added, users sometimes got an error message that said "Increase the settings of MinSP's in SYSTEM.INI." MinSP meant "minimum stack pages," and you had to add a line in the SYSTEM.INI file in the Windows folder in order to increase memory. The number was supposed to be a multiple of 4, hence adding a MinSP=8 or MinSP=12 line should have sufficed.

Nonsense or What?
This is a perfect example of the utter nonsense that users had to endure over the years in this industry. Fortunately, it has gotten a whole lot better; however, every now and then, some super geeky message does appear.
