In the future, spatial computing may deal more with digitizing the real world in order to accommodate people moving in their environment; for example, by opening doors, turning on lights and adjusting room temperature.
In the promotion of Apple's Vision Pro, the company encourages its developers to use the spatial computing term when referring to apps for the headset (see
