Definition: smart scale
A bathroom scale that provides a body checkup. Along with a person's current body weight, a smart scale provides a clinical assessment of a person's health. Body composition is measured through bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), which is a painless electrical charge sent through both bare feet when standing on the scale.
