Red pilled comes from the 1999 science fiction film "The Matrix," in which Neo, the main character, was offered a red pill to reveal the truth or a blue pill to remain blissfully ignorant. Red pilled is considered a negative term that implies radicalization and detrimental ideologies.
The Green Pill
