Not requiring a password for authorization. Face and fingerprint recognition were the beginning of a passwordless world because they substitute for entering a text-based code. However, Fast Identity Online (FIDO) and Web Authentication (WebAuthn) provide a more complete solution because there is no user action required (see FIDO and WebAuthn).
