Definition: Plog

(1) (Photo bLOG) A blog that is primarily used to display photos. Generic blogging services may be used, but plogs that are designed specifically for displaying photos are also created. Like a blog, postings are displayed in chronological order. In contrast, photo sharing websites offer features such as editing, folder organization and photo printing. (2) (Personalized bLOG) A private blog visible only to customers of Amazon.com. The entries come from the blogs of authors whose books the customer has purchased, from authors suggested by Amazon.com who the customer approves as well as from the company itself when it has timely information to convey.
