Definition: mobile-first learning

Educational material delivered via smartphones. Mobile-first learning implies that people can take educational courses anywhere because they have their phones with them at all times. It obviates the need to be sitting at a desk, and therefore people can learn no matter where they happen to be.

Courseware designed for mobile-first learning is designed for small screens, and the material tends to be shorter in duration than desktop courses. See microlearning and CBT.
