The risky part of the World Wide Web. It refers to the top-level domains (TLDs) that are most likely to have fictitious websites. Since 2007, antivirus software company McAfee has analyzed millions of websites in more than 100 countries to determine which domains contain the most dangerous sites. In 2010, the .com domain was the riskiest, while the least risky were .travel, .edu and .jp (Japan). See malware and drive-by download.
