Founded in 1996 by Joel Maske and Allison Hartsoe, it offered websites breaking news headlines, news photos, stock quotes, weather, horoscopes and content from more than 500 providers. In 2001, after building an impressive content portfolio, iSyndicate declared Chapter 11. Purchased in turn by YellowBrix, Inc., a leading provider of content infrastructure services, the resulting company continues its emphasis on capturing, packaging and disseminating information to business users.
