5.8" XS and 6.5" XS Max
XS models feature OLED screens (2436x1125 and 2688x1242 pixels) and storage up to 512GB. For video playback, the latest high dynamic range HDR10 and Dolby Vision are supported (see
HDR). Models have dual-lens 12MP rear cameras with 2x optical and 10x digital zoom. All iPhone X models have a 7MP front camera for FaceTime and selfies. XS models are IP68 water resistant to two meters. With pricing for the XS Max from $1,099 to $1449, iPhones are in the same price level as Mac laptops.
6.1" XR
The XR replaced the X from 2017, which had a smaller 5.8" OLED screen (XR reverts to an LCD screen). Storage options are 64GB-256GB. The XR has a single-lens 12MP rear camera with 5x digital and no optical zoom (same front camera as XS). The XR is IP67 water resistant to one meter (see
IP Code).
