Definition: e-textiles

(Electronic-TEXTILES) Fabrics that are augmented with electronics to provide battery power, heat or health monitoring capabilities. E-textiles use conductive threads and fabrics, and the electronic components may be external to the material or embedded within. Also called "smart textiles."
