Pre-21st Century
This 1996 book was all about transferring money over the Internet just as the Internet was emerging. Lynch and Lundquist wrote about "crypto" in the book, but it was about the cryptographic methods used to secure financial transactions. Cryptocurrency did not yet exist (see cryptography).
