Definition: bendgate

Refers to a damaged smartphone that gets bent (warped) after pressure is inadvertently applied in a pants pocket or by some other force. Bendgate was first attributed to the iPhone 6 Plus smartphone and then to the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, the latter causing Samsung to release a two-minute video showing the three-point bend test given to the devices.
