Definition: Windows Hello

The biometric authentication introduced in Windows 10 that enables users to log onto their computers using face or fingerprint recognition. In the 2016 Anniversary Update, Windows Hello was added to the Microsoft Store. In 2019, Windows Hello became a certified FIDO2 authenticator (see FIDO). See Windows 10 Anniversary Update.
