Games) A programming interface (API) that lets Windows application developers access the video frame buffer directly. It allows game programs to be written to run as fast in Windows as they do under DOS.
(2) (Wing) An Alphabet company that makes drone deliveries. Founded in 2012, the first delivery experiments took place in Finland and Australia. Originally a Google X project, Wing became an independent division in 2018. Wing has stated it expects to deliver millions of packages in 2024. See
