Definition: Web-connected printer
A printer that has a direct connection to the Web. Using a wireless or wired connection to the user's network, users can surf the Web using the printer's screen and print directly, without requiring a computer in between.
Automatic Printing
Certain Web printers can receive notification from the Web and print the photos, allowing users to upload photos to a printer website that are printed on a selected printer at a remote location. The proverbial example is that of parents sending pictures of the kids to the grandparents' printer.
