A Windows feature starting with Windows 7 that enables the computer's built-in Wi-Fi to be set up as multiple Wi-Fi networks (multiple virtual access points). It enables the machine to act as a Wi-Fi booster from one wireless network to another, as well as serve as a Wi-Fi hotspot to other devices in the vicinity. If the PC is connected via Wi-Fi ad hoc mode to other PCs in the vicinity, VirtualWiFi can function as a gateway to the Internet for those machines. See
