A joint venture of Apple, AT&T, IBM and Siemens that promoted interoperability between existing and emerging telephony and data communications standards. Launched in 1994, the primary contribution of this group, which later disbanded, was the vCard and vCalendar formats, which were turned over to the Internet Mail Consortium at the end of 1996.
