The disk cache software in Windows 95/98. It was a 32-bit program that dynamically allocated available free memory and replaced the 16-bit Smartdrive cache in DOS/Windows 3.1. Vcache could automatically adjust the size of the cache depending on the current environment and amount of free disk space. See
