A camera sensor introduced with the HTC One smartphone in 2013. Instead of the normal pixel size of 1.0 to 1.4 micrometers, the 2.0-micrometer UltraPixels allow more light to reach the sensor. The 4-megapixel UltraPixel sensor has twice the surface area of 8-megapixel cameras using a 1.4 micrometer pixel size. See
