Transsion Holdings is a Chinese manufacturer of mobile phones. Founded in 2006, Transsion launched its first smartphone in 2014 and operates in the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. It has had a huge presence in Africa, even surpassing Samsung in 2017. The company's mobile phone brands include Tecno, Itel and Infinix. In 2017, Transsion acquired Indian phone company Spice Digital and has had considerable growth in the Indian market. In the 4th quarter 2023, Transsion smartphone shipments ranked fourth after Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi.
