An enhanced Siri debuting with iOS 27 for iPhones as well as iPads with Apple silicon (see
Apple M series). Siri AI adds a chatbot experience to Siri and is always available when using the device. It is also accessible from a Siri app. Users can store Siri chats forever or for a limited time. The camera app can analyze an image and describe its contents.
The iPhone undergoes an indexing period that can take hours to explore all the apps in the device and user preferences, but individual apps can be excluded from this process.
