Definition: Salsa

An earlier Windows application development system that used predefined, intuitively designed templates for common business functions. Salsa was created by Wall Data Inc. of Kirkland, Washington, the same company that developed PC-to-host connectivity RUMBA software. NetManage, Inc. acquired Wall Data in 1999.
