A "Structured Connectivity System" developed by Bell Labs, the R&D arm of Lucent. Also known as a "premises distribution system" (PDS), SYSTIMAX is a set of products and technologies for open architecture networks, which includes software, cables and physical interfaces. The SYSTIMAX goal is maximum uptime and flexibility.
