The logo that designates USB ports starting with USB 3.0. As of USB 4, the logo and speed (5, 10, 20, 40) alone are expected to replace the various naming conventions. See
USB.
The USB Logos
In time, the logo and number (5, 10, 20, 40) are expected to replace the jumble of USB designations. DisplayPort requires USB-C cables (see
USB Type C).
SuperSpeed Logo
The SuperSpeed logo first appeared on USB 3.0 ports (SS 5).
Not Always
The SuperSpeed logo is not always used when USB ports are advertised.
