Query and reporting software from Hyperion Solutions Corporation, Santa Clara, California that provides a graphical front end for designing and generating complex, high-volume reports. As a data processing and reporting engine, SQR supports multiple output types, including HTML, PDF, XML, Postscript and Excel with one pass of the data source. Originally developed by SQRIBE Technologies, it was acquired by Brio Software in 1999, which was sold to Hyperion in 2003. In 2007, Oracle acquired Hyperion.
