An earlier smartphone platform from Nokia that ran under Symbian OS. Comprising a user interface along with media player, organizer and other components, S60 supported color screen resolutions from 176x208 to 352x416, although higher resolutions were used. Formerly Series 60, most S60 phones were from Nokia, but Samsung, LG and other manufacturers supported the platform. S60 and Symbian OS evolved into the Symbian open source platform. See
