(2) (RosettaNet, Lawrenceville, NJ) A non-profit subsidiary of the trade organization GS1 US, formerly known as the Uniform Code Council (UCC). RosettaNet is devoted to standardizing interfaces for electronic commerce between supply chain partners. With B2B standards and integration as their common goal, RosettaNet's membership focuses on the high tech sector, while the GS1 US works with multiple industries, largely retail and grocery. It is the GS1 US that administers the Universal Product Code (UPC) system.
