Definition: QHD monitor


A computer monitor with 1,440 lines of resolution. The majority of entry-level monitors have 1,080 lines; which is required for watching a Full HD movie (see FHD). Displaying a third more content (documents, Web pages, etc.) on screen, the QHD 2560x1440 resolution is found in high-end monitors and all-in-one computers. See QHD and screen resolution.
