Definition: PhotoDraw
An earlier image editing program from Microsoft that combined painting and drawing tools in one package. PhotoDraw was used for scanning and retouching photos, developing banner ads and images for websites and enhancing Microsoft Office graphics with a wide variety of clip art. PhotoDraw provided essential vector elements (lines, rectangles, etc.), arrows and other shapes that could be resized and edited. When Office XP was introduced, it included MS Photo Editor for image editing.
