Intel's first chip to use the I4 (7 nm) process technology. Introduced in 2023, Meteor Lake is also the first Intel silicon to be built as a multichip module (MCM) that allows several dies (chiplets) to be connected on the same chip package. Meteor Lake also uses 3D stacking. See
