Apple's newest Mac workstation, which was introduced in 2022. Using Apple's M1 chip, the Studio became Apple's flagship desktop computer that is more powerful than the last Intel-based Mac Pro model, which is twice the price of the Studio comparably equipped (see
Mac Pro). The Mac Studio can support up to four Apple XDR Pro Display monitors. The M1 was brought out in 2020 and most Mac models graduated to Apple's chip over the course of a year and a half. In 2023, models migrated to the M2 chip. See
