Following are the ways to capture part or all of a Mac screen to a file or to the clipboard.

   SAVE SELECTION TO FILE ON DESKTOP

   Area
    1. Cmd-Shift-4
    2. Drag mouse and let go

   Window
    1. Cmd-Shift-4
    2. Press spacebar
    3. Click window

   Entire Screen

   COPY SELECTION TO CLIPBOARD
