Definition: MSAA


(1) (MicroSoft Active Accessibility) A software interface that lets a Windows application be designed for the visually impaired. MSAA enables each object (window, dialog box, etc.) in the user interface to identify itself so a screen reader can be used. See screen reader and text-to-speech.
