(Medical Information Technology, Inc., Westwood, MA) A leading supplier of integrated healthcare information systems. Founded in 1969, its first packaged applications were introduced in the mid-1970s. Neil Pappalardo and Curtis Marble, two of the company's five co-founders, had previously developed the MUMPS programming language at Massachusetts General Hospital.
