Definition: Intel Evo

(Intel EVOlution) An Intel platform for premium laptops. Debuting in 2020, laptops have to pass a test to display the Evo logo. Machines must use Intel's latest CPUs, be under a certain weight limit and have a minimum battery life. The machine must wake from sleep mode in under a second and have the latest Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi support. Laptops from Dell, HP, Acer, Lenovo and Asus have been available under the Evo designation.
