Founded in 1996, some of its more notable products were Traffic Server, a high-performance proxy server, and Ultraseek Server, which Inktomi acquired from Walt Disney in 2000. In late 2002, Verity acquired Ultraseek Server, having been previously renamed Inktomi Enterprise Search.
