A popular video game from DMA Design. Introduced in 1997 for DOS and Windows, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) was later offered on the PlayStation and handheld Game Boy Color. A huge success, Grand Theft Auto has been criticized for its violence. Objectives are causing destruction, stealing cars and completing challenges.
GTA comprises six levels taking place in New York, San Francisco and Miami, although the cities have fake names. Players choose a character, which is named, and after the completion of one level, they are advanced to the next. See
