Definition: Google Verbatim

A search option Google introduced in 2011 that generates results closer to the search words. For example, with Google Verbatim, misspelled words are not corrected and verb tense is maintained. Singular and plural words are not interchanged. The results from Verbatim are not the same as adding quotes to the search words (see quoted search).

Selecting Verbatim
After the results are shown, selecting Tools displays the "All results" menu, which contains the Verbatim option.
