Google's online store for downloading games, movies, TV shows, e-books and apps for Android and Chromebook. Apps are also available for Android-based watches as well as Android smartphones that connect to the car (see
Android Auto). Android games for Windows 11 were added in 2023 (see
Windows Subsystem for Android).
Although not the only venue for obtaining Android apps, Google Play is the most popular for the Android platform and is expected to remain uncensored.

In 2012, Google consolidated its Android Market app store, Google Music and Google eBookstore into Google Play, or "Play Store" as it appears on Android devices. The music service was later moved to YouTube (see
YouTube Music).
